Hey bestie,
Before you post your next piece of content you need to think, "How can I build a cult-like following that trusts and buys from me?"
In this email, I'm going to show you exactly that!
But first, let me tell you something that’s been on my mind lately…
Why do creators with small followings often make more money than creators who have a large number of followers?
I sat down with this thought yesterday, and after forcing my brain to answer it, I finally realized that…
These small creators don’t have some random followers - they intentionally build a cult-like following who trust and buy from them.
And you can do it too!
Think of it like this: You can have 1000 acquaintances who barely know your name, or 100 best friends who would drop everything to help you.
Which group do you think would buy from you?
The answer should be obvious.
You see, building a cult-like following isn't about numbers. It's about the depth of connection.
So here’s how you can build your community in that way:
1. Show Everything on Stories
I mean EVERYTHING. Your messy desk. Your 6 AM thoughts. Your failures. Your wins. Your random grocery store observations.
Stories are where relationships are built. Feed posts get you discovered. Stories get you trusted.
2. Be an Open Book
Share the stuff that makes you human. I mean the doubt. The fear. The "what if this doesn't work" moments.
I once posted about crying in my car after a failed client call. That single story got more DMs than any "motivational" post I'd ever shared.
Because vulnerability is magnetic.
3. Go Live on Stories
Raw. Unfiltered. No script. Just you talking to your phone like you're talking to your best friend.
Live stories feel like FaceTime calls. Because people buy from people they feel like they know personally.
4. Use Reels to make people feel like they’re right there with you
Don’t overthink the setup or wait for perfect lighting
Just record the random thought you had while doing your skincare or the realisation that hit you mid-scroll
That’s the stuff people actually connect with
Because the goal isn’t to go viral
It’s to make someone feel like, “Wait, this girl gets me”
And when they feel seen, they trust you - and that’s how community starts
That's a community that's invested in YOUR success.
And for me, it's more valuable than gold!
So stop trying to be perfect. Start being real.
Rooting for you (and your future cult),
Archie
